El galardonado autor Roberto Aliaga nació en Ciudad Real en 1976. Es biólogo y escritor de literatura infantil. Tiene publicadas más de 50 obras infantiles y sus libros se han traducido a 16 idiomas. Tiene más de ocho premios literarios a sus espaldas, entre los que se encuentra el premio International Latino Book Awards que ganó en 2014 y 2016, con Dorothy (Cuento de luz, 2014) y La llavecita dorada (Cuento de luz, 2016) respectivamente.
