Kubi lived near a river with his owner Charlie, a tugboat captain. The little dog loved watching the ships, the birds, and other animals from the wheelhouse. Kubi spent the day with his four-legged friends, having fun playing hide and seek. After playing with so much energy, they were spent and would fall asleep in any corner. Afterwards they would approach near the river to watch the big ships sailing upstream and downstream. That was more or less Kubis routine until Rosita arrived.

Rosita grew up in a small village, far away. But she never had a real home and was often hungry and afraid. One day she bravely set off to find a new place to live. Will she find a happy home with Kubi and his friend?

The second book in the Kubi series is an endearing tale of courage, compassion, and friendship.

El galardonado ilustrador e autor Erik Speyer nació en Argentina y se educó en diferentes países como Dinamarca y Estados Unidos. Erik comenzó a pintar desde que era un niño y ha continuado su pasión por la pintura a lo largo de su vida; la pintura lo ha acompañado durante sus diferentes y variadas etapas profesionales, como en las que ejerció de piloto para la Marina de los EE.UU. o como director de un museo de ciencias. Artista premiado internacionalmente, sus acuarelas y óleos se exhiben en galerías de arte y en colecciones privadas y corporativas en los EE.UU. y Europa. Es el autor de Las aventuras de Kubi (Cuento de luz, 2015).
