Based on the communicative approach, and drawing on the best of current thinking and practice, face2face prepares students for real world communication. This new edition provides specific help for Spanish speakers. As well as providing self-study exercises to practise the language presented in the Student's Book, the Workbook includes a 30-page Reading and Writing Portfolio linked to the CEF (C1) and a list of 'Can do' statements that allow students to track their progress. The Workbook also features references to the Student's Book Language Summary and an Answer Key. face2face for Spanish Speakers has five 'Get it right!' pages devoted to common errors made by Spanish speakers, which have been informed by the Cambridge Learner Corpus, and ten 'Exam focus' sections with tips and practice for those preparing for exams.
