This book, abundantly illustrated and documented, offers a chronological survey, from the first houses in the Hamptons to the most recent buildings including the Getty Center in Los Angeles and the MACBA in Barcelona. In 1984 Richard Meier was awarded the Pritzker Prize, the most coveted architectural award.
